Information for donors
Carecent depends entirely on donations – of money, food, clothing, toiletries - and time.
Needs in 2018
It's that time of year again! We would be very grateful for any donations this Harvest time, and this year we are asking for the following:
Tinned tomatoes (preferably whole not chopped)
Tinned meat which can be served cold – ham, spam, corned beef.
Tinned hot dog sausages
Breakfast Cereal – if possible with long shelf life please!
Canned fish (especially fish other than tuna)
Marmite / Peanut butter
Clothing and Toiletries
Gents’ socks please - they don’t have to be new, but they do have to be clean! We would also welcome mens & ladies underwear (new / nearly new)
Jeans (in sizes 30”, 32” and 34”)
Gents’ clothes (fleeces / jumpers / t-shirts)
Hats, gloves, roll-on deodorant (no aerosols please), toothpaste, shampoo and disposable razors.
Baby wipes / cosmetic wipes
This year we're not asking for:
Tinned or packet soup
Combination tins e.g. baked beans with sausages – and spiced items.
As we only serve breakfast, we can't use things such as tinned or fresh vegetables, cooking sauces, packets of dried rice and pasta.

Friends of Carecent: Could you help?
Our running costs have increased significantly over the last couple of years, and we now need to secure regular income alongside continuing donations in order to carry on helping the vulnerable people who rely on us.
We are looking for "Friends" - supporters who will commit a regular monthly contribution to Carecent in order to provide us with a more secure income.
If you would like to become a Friend of Carecent, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for a Friends Form.
